Kim AnamiIn this week’s episode, Kim Anami shares with us:

How our sexual energy can be used as an inspirational, creative life-force and how that energy can improve our health, wealth and over all well-being.

How we can harness this powerful sexual energy that we all have within us.

How to become aware of the sexual taboos that we have all been exposed to at some point in our life that deem us to be wrong, dirty or otherwise bad.
Why and how its important to cultivate an intimate, even sexual relationship with ourselves.

And why an intimate relationship with someone else is not required to tap into this sexual, creative energy!

Meet Kim Anami

Kim Anami is a holistic sex and relationship coach, a writer and a speaker. Her work is a spiritual synthesis of two decades of growth-accelerating practices she uses to propel clients into higher stratospheres of connection, intimacy, energy and creativity.
Her musings on life and love have graced Playboy, Elle, Oprah Magazine, Shape and many more. She has also been featured on national talk shows such as E! Network and CNN.

Enjoy listening with an open heart and mind and note that there is explicit language and content in this episode. Also, you may notice yourself becoming triggered by some of the content. I invite you to question and become curious when (if) this happens for you at any point during the interview. Observe without judgment how you receive the content as well as the beliefs you have about it. Where did it come from for you? Is it true? How could you see your sexuality differently? Etc.

Please enjoy this episode without little ones around as the language and content is very explicit.

Kevin GianniWhat do you do when you realize that you may have a hereditary cancer risk and your intent is to find out the keys to perfect wellness? Well, you spend the next two and a half years going across North America in a 36-foot, bio-fuelled RV, named ‘the Kale Whale’, with your wife talking with experts about what works and what doesn’t when it comes to healthy living.

Kevin Gianni is joining us this week to talk about his adventures, learnings and rock bottoms that he had to hit before recognizing what works for him and his body despite what all the professionals say.

Meet Kevin Gianni

Kevin Gianni seriously started researching personal and preventative natural health therapies in 2002 when he was struck with the reality that cancer ran deep in his family and if he didn’t change the way he was living, he might go down that same path. Since then, he’s written and self-published six books on natural health, diet, and fitness, produced over 900 YouTube videos with over 10 million views and has published hundreds of articles.

He’s experimented with many diets and medical protocols to differentiate myth from reality. Kevin has also traveled around the world searching for the best foods, medicines and clinics to introduce them to the readers of the blog he co-founded — RenegadeHealth.com — which is one of the most widely read natural health blogs in the world with hundreds of thousands of visitors a month from over 150 countries around the world. (He’s now a contributor there.)

During that time, he and Annmarie co-founded Annmarie Skin Care, a natural, organic skin care and beauty company. He spends his time now keeping the wheels on this award-winning line as acting CEO.

Sometimes the media is interested in what he’s done. Either he or the Annmarie Skin Care products have been featured or interviewed by many media outlets including The New York Times, Huffington Post, the Style Channel, FOX News, Treehugger and Organic Spa Magazine.

He lives in Berkeley, California with his wife, Annmarie, two kids, two cats and a chicken.

Alok Appadurai Headshot Square“Failure does not kill you.” – Alok Appadurai

If you wear clothing, you need to listen to this episode.

Whether you realize it or not, the fashion industry is a huge part of our lives. Every time we purchase clothing (or anything for that matter), we’re making a vote for what we want more of. If you purchase clothing made by cheap labour and full of chemicals then more clothing made by cheap labour and full of chemicals will be produced.

Not only will Alok and his journey with Fed By Threads educate you on the fashion industry, it will also inspire you to take action on your dream. That dream that you have kept tucked away or that dream that seems unattainable. That dream that lights you up and gives you goose bumps. That dream that wakes you up in the middle of the night or steels your attention in the middle of the day.

Remember, every journey starts somewhere and, as Martin Luther King Jr. so wisely said; “You don’t have to see the entire staircase, just take the first step.” That first step is always the toughest but can also be the most rewarding. Do not underestimate the power of your actions and how powerful those first baby steps can be.

This episode is a real eye opener. Our intent is to give you information and knowledge and you do what you will with it! Once we know something, it becomes difficult to ignore.

Gabrielle Brick Family ShotGabrielle Brick says it just right, “Life is messy. We’re not messy. Life is messy.”

When we understand and fully embody this principle, we can be free of perfection and the need to control everything. What do we really have control over anyways? Other than ourselves and how we choose to act or react, is there anything else that we can control? When we really think of this question, we’ll realize that there is nothing else that we have control over. And with that comes freedom!

This is one of the reasons Gabrielle Brick has been able to build her business and raise twin boys as a single mom at the same time.
